Installed directly in the water supply line, the liquid dispenser operates without electricity, using water pressure as the power source.
Set one on a water pipe and leave it. It’s as simple as that. On its way through, the water activates the dispenser, which takes up the required percentage of concentrate; inside the dispenser, the concentrate is mixed with the water. The water pressure forces the solution downstream.
Once set, the dispenser requires no further attention. The dose of concentrate will always be strictly proportional to the volume of water entering the dispenser, whatever variations in flow or pressure may occur in the main line.
The dispenser’s high metering accuracy eliminates any risk of overdosing, thus helping to safeguard the environment.
"D" type mechanical diaphragm metering pumps are suitable for use when the liquid to dose contains small suspended solids and when high pressure is not required. The gearbox is a standard wormwheel reduction system coupled with a vertical mounted B14 shaped electric motor in accordance with UNEL-MEC specification. The mechanism for variation of the stroke length is a positive stroke spring return operated by an eccentric. Stroke adjustment can be done manually, electrically (4-20mA; Profibus) and pneumatically. Different multiple head units are available on request. All the series can be ATEX certified.
